RIGHT BRUSHING MATTERS, TWICE BRUSHING DOESN'T!
The first thing to do in morning is to brush our teeth and the last thing to do before sleeping is to brush our teeth. This is the routine we all follow nowadays. But how many of us have really stopped and thought that am I using the right way of brushing my teeth? May be very few of us know this. The key to good dental hygiene is adapting the right way of brushing your teeth. We always ask the dentist that I brush my teeth twice a day still I have bad breath and yellow teeth. What can we do to answer these questions? The answer lies with us only. Let's discuss the right brushing technique to be followed.
Step 1 Place the head of toothbrush against your teeth, then tilt the bristle tips to a 45 degree angle against the gum line. Move the tooth brush in small circular movements, several times, on all the surfaces of every tooth.
Step 2 Brush the outer surfaces of each tooth, upper and lower, keeping the bristles angled against the gum line.
Step 3 Use the same method on the inside surfaces of all your teeth.
Step 4 Brush the biting surfaces of the teeth.
Step 5
To clean the inside surfaces of the front teeth, tilt the brush vertically and make several small circular strokes with the front part of the brush.
Step 6
Make sure to clean the inter-dental surfaces of all the teeth with dental floss to remove all the food deposits between the teeth. Brushing your tongue will help freshen your breath and clean your mouth by removing bacteria. If you struggle with your brushing technique the right way you may get rid of all the problems you face regarding your oral hygiene.
